Well, I just ordered a GoPro HD Helmet HERO MegaPack from http://pointofviewcameras.ca/ in Canada.
Because I ordered it before Dec 31st, I got 10% off.
It came out to a total of $430cdn (with 5% tax & free shipping) with an extra battery, tripod mount, handlebar/seatpost and roll cage mounts, wall and car chargers, and a 16Gb SDHC card. I can't wait to get it.

I plan to get a fast Kingston 32Gb Ultimate series SDHC card and the "Endurance Battery Bakpac for double battery life (not yet available for pre-order)" which will hold the extra battery (2 batteries in the cam at the same time).

This will be my first helmet camera. I had borrowed a friend's POV.1 at the end of 2008. He had just got it and I was "testing" it for him.

Hmmm!!! I think my drifting videos are going to get better!!!!

Especially if you get a really good view from up front near the top of the front grill. I hope Tony can hang on real goodon the hood.

I received my HD Helmet Hero today...I haven't tried it other than to figure out how to use it.

Here's a sample. Weather was overcast, so not very sunny as you can see, but I find it still looks good. This was a first test to see what it looks like, mounting options, etc....More to come when we get some sun.

Now thats a nice view and different. How about mounting it between the crowns up front? If possible that would be a cool view too instead of the traditional head angle.

The helmet cam was mounted to the downtube using the GoPro Roll Bar Mount since the diameter is too large for the GoPro Handlebar Seatpost Mount, which would be good for mounting to the fork. I have both.
I'll try that view next...

I know you don't beleive in washing your bike even in the summer but you drive train is about to get corroded to shit my friend. Road salt kills bike parts.

Naaa, the road salt would have to get past Bromont's dirt to get to the metal parts...

The only problem I had was that the AC charger was not shipped, but I called them and they shipped it out the same day.
I would definitely buy from them again. Considering all the items that I got, having 1 item missing isn't a huge deal, especially since it was only the AC adapter, but what was nice was how fast they sent it out after I called. That's good customer service!

P.S. I love this cam....
