Camp Fortune Trail Day #1 Superbooters on National

The season is here, the Gatineau Park is now open and with a few weeks till the lifts open OMBA is pleased to announce our first DH trail day of the 2010 season at Fortune.

Last Spring the 30 members of the Riding community put in a good days work to replace a tired, worn out section of trail with a fast flowy section of new trail that is fun for all skill levels. To continue on last years thread, this year the trail day will build a series floater jumps from the National Step-down through to the bubble rock that will allow newer riders to progress to some of the more advanced trail features.

For those of you who say "We need more Jumps" This is your chance.

When: Saturday June 5th at 10am - done (1pm-2pm)

Where: Meet at the Skyline Lodge

What to Bring: Water, Water, Snack, Bug Net, Long Sleeve shirt and pants, Work Gloves, Hat, Sunscreen, Bug spray.

Tools - There will be some tools supplied by OMBA; however, it is best if volunteers can bring a combination of any of the following: Hard Rake, Pulaski, Shovel, Rockbar.

* Note: All Volunteers will be required to sign a waiver.
** Volunteers under 18 will require the signature of a Parent or Guardian
*** OMBA can sign off on Volunteer hours for Highschool Credits.

Yeah! Everyone's going to be there!

Are you riding afterwards? My daughter is visiting for the week and I have to drive her to the West Island Saturday. If I get a chance I'll show up but doesn't look like it so far.
