Been in touch with a few from the Tremblant region and got some great info on where to ride on the mountain. Apparently the old DH trails are still being used by locals and maintained very well. Getting to them is an adventure its self seeing you have over 2600 vertical feet to ascend to be able to reach the summit. I got some idea how to get up to the top and looks like one hell of an epic ride.

Forget a big DH bike because you will need a granny gear (22-T) but you still need about 6" travel and a dually preferably, I guess that spells a big All Mountain bike. If the weather holds up without any snow accumulation till Friday next week I'm trying to plan a day off to go ride a nice long day. Also have a GPS with me.

So you can find your way home after you get lost on the trails? (And it begins...)

Do you know the old trails? I do. Most have been destroyed. I bet those locals are talking about the more recent DH trails that are only off the Flying Mile
