Anyone in for a Camp Fortune day trip? Maybe get some or all of the Bashsquad out? I liked riding with the group we had yesterday May 24th and would be cool to get a good groop going in June around St-Jean weekend. might just do a BBQ at my place on the way back seeing it's on the way home.

Post up what you think and ideas.

J-P...hum that's pretty much it but there's some injured, some with game over bikes but always new guests too...haha!

I've looked at my calendar and it looks like I'm off for the St-Jean wkd yoohoo!

There's also a really nice pub/terrasse in Ottawa we went last year with the Iamrider group, can't remember the name but it was awesome. would be another option for beer & bbq. I have an intel source in Ottawa for that haha.

I have plenty of space on my property (53,000sq.ft.) so if people even want to do a camp out and stay the night I can have as many tents as you want for the group. Can also make a fire in the evening etc...

Later on in the season probably in September I'm thinking of doing a corn roast & BBQ but this time all day and evening so the significant others (boyfriends, girlfriends, spouse) can be there too and celebrate together. Possibly the best way to get to know each other on a different level. All I can say is every single MTB member I have met and gone riding with has always been a great experience and always a load of fun.

I'll get myself ready for a gathering for the next time we do CF instead with some nice home brew, firepit and something in back to test your skills.

No show for me. I watch the Fireworks the night of the 23rd from my boat. Then I go for a little boot because it's chaos at the dock to get out after the fireworks.

I will go more by the weather (Rain/Thunderstorm). If it's crap on the 23rd and good on the 24th for riding, I will go for sure!!!

Thunderstorms have lightning = motivation to move your fucking ass on the trail.

Alright,
I called and as usual with this place no one to talk to and only voicemail. So I sent an email via my Iamrider account letting them know first that the Quebec June 24th Holiday is not a date we can move generaly here and let them know most people work on the 25th. I also mentioned a large group would be going but as I know this place I dought I will hear from them.

I'm just going to cancel this day trip and go somewhere else like Bro or MSA.

I guess MSA = Mont Ste-Anne?

Hopefully by then i will have a car so i may be able to join you. I just got a call from the bike shop about my wheels and they will take 2 weeks longer than expected So that pushes then back to mid june to arrive.

Moi ça ferait plus mon affaire du 25 au 26...je travail le 24...à temps 2-1/2 $$$! mais je suis off du 25 au 26.

p-e aussi que plus de monde pourrait se joindre au groupe si c'est la fds?
